The arrival of the Michelin Guide, which only chooses destinations with distinct, well-defined cuisines of consistent quality and excellence, is proof of this. In 2020, the first prestigious Michelin stars appeared in the Slovenian culinary sky and are now being joined by even more shining examples. There are currently ten restaurants in Slovenia with these prestigious stars: one with three stars, one with two stars and the others with one star each.
