Gault & Millau in Slovenia

Gault & Millau is among the three most influential international guides in gastronomy. It is renowned for its toques awarded to restaurants around the world. Restaurants that meet Gault & Millau's criteria may obtain one to five toques and are featured in the guide. Slovenia has its own edition of this influential restaurant guide.

Ten Slovenian restaurants distinguish themselves with four toques. This year, one of them was awarded an impressive total of 18.5 points out of a potential 20. Apart from ten restaurants with four toques, Slovenia also boasts 30 restaurants that received three toques. In addition to awarding toques, the famous guide also selected the best individuals in gastronomy. The recipients of special titles include top chefs who stepped into the limelight due to their unwavering devotion to the Slovenian culinary tradition and creativity.
