Gault & Millau in Slovenia

Gault & Millau is among the three most influential international guides in gastronomy. It is renowned for its toques awarded to restaurants around the world. Restaurants that meet Gault & Millau's criteria may obtain one to five toques and are featured in the guide. Slovenia has its own edition of this influential restaurant guide. It includes 130 restaurants checked out by anonymous inspectors, of which six restaurants obtained four toques and two were awarded a high rating – 17.5 points out of a possible 20. You are warmly invited to get to know the six best restaurants and check out the names in Slovenian gastronomy that will mark the year of 2020.

Gastronomy for four toques

You can eat and drink well in Slovenia. According to Gault & Millau, you will enjoy a particularly exceptional gastronomic experience in certain restaurants. Hiša Franko and Gostilna pri Lojzetu are the highest ranked, and a further four restaurants can pride themselves on four toques.
