The event entitled Ljubljana Wine Route (Ljubljanska vinska pot) marks St. Martin's Day, when, according to Slovenian tradition, grape must officially turns to wine. St. Martin's Day in the city that boasts the oldest wine cellar in Slovenia is always a special experience. This year will be especially festive, as the oldest Slovenian wine – Zlata trta (Golden vine), kept by the Ptuj Wine Cellar, is 100 years old. Alongside the party with the concert at Mestni trg, Ptuj will also treat its visitors with delicious food and fine wines, tell stories about wine, and open the doors to its wine cellars and stores.

On this occasion, even 20.000 visitors from Slovenia and abroad come to the Slovenian Styrian capital.
