Vienna Boys Choir (Wiener Sängerknaben) was founded in 1498 by the first Viennese bishop, Slovenian Jurij Slatkonja. It is one of the best known boys' choirs in the world. This famous choir consists of boys between the ages of ten and fourteen.The choir's repertoire includes everything from medieval to contemporary and experimental music.
In addition to the Vienna Boys Choir at the concert there will also be performnig Helena Blagne, more known as a pop singer, but recently also known as an opera singer.
