A rush of adrenaline in Slovenia’s rivers

Experience refreshing and daring fun on the wild waters of Slovenian rivers. In a healthy and safe way.

Adrenaline-filled adventures in wild waters

Make your holiday even more exciting by experiencing a refreshing rush of adrenaline. Hop on a raft, kayak, or canoe, grab hold of the paddles and follow your experienced guides to the wild, virtually untameable white waters of Slovenian rivers. Tour mysterious gorges with daring jumps over waterfalls, into deep pools, or climbs over natural obstacles. You can also learn about rivers in other innovative and daring ways. So, are you up for the challenge?

Adrenaline-packed. Refreshing. And above all, safe!

Before you embark on an adventure among wild river rapids, it's good to know how to make sure it's a safe adventure with a happy ending. Check the weather forecast and the water level at your destination. Never go on a water adventure alone – it is best to choose one of the licensed and experienced guides and agencies. Choose experiences that are suitable for your physical and mental condition. And respect the natural environment in which you embark on adrenaline-pumping water adventures.

Rivers are happening! What will you choose?

Excuses about not knowing what to do on the river won't fly. You are sure to find something for yourself among the wide variety of sports activities, laced with a good dose of adrenaline.

Rafting is the number one adrenaline water adventure. Sit in a rubber boat in the company of experienced guides. Ride the wild river rapids and follow the flow of the current.

Another popular river activity is cruising down the river in a kayak or canoe. Beginners can start with tamer rivers, while more experienced paddlers will prefer taking on a tougher river challenge.

Put on a wetsuit, awaken the curious child within you and get ready for a hefty dose of adrenaline while canyoning. You will take a walk along the narrow riverbed, climb natural obstacles, make bold jumps into pools and slide down hair-raising waterfalls.

Hydrospeeding offers the most direct contact with the river. You have but a tiny watercraft under you that you steer with your flippers. You are also wearing protective water gear that protects you against any collisions with rocks.

If you're looking for the latest adrenaline challenge, you can try bellyak. Unlike hydrospeed, you use your arms to steer instead of your legs.

Sometimes the easiest way is the most fun. This could be said of taking a ride downriver on an inflatable inner tube.

From the wildest rapids to idle currents

In addition to adrenaline challenges on wild rapids, you can also find more relaxing things to do in or by Slovenian rivers. Calm your thoughts fly-fishing, feel the river on a SUP or take up an oar on a traditional raft.
