Let’s go to Krvavec

Only few kilometres from Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana, you can find Krvavec, which was awarded the title of Slovenia’s Best Ski Resort 2017 by the World Ski Awards. Some 30 kilometres of maintained ski runs with exceptional views of the Ljubljana Basin and the Gorenjska region, the Snow Park and Après-ski at the resort are the main attributes of this Gorenjska ski centre. Special drag lifts and conveyor belts for children and a polygon for beginners will help when learning the basics of skiing through games. A day on the snow can be further supplemented with night sledding or you can treat yourself to a pampering session in Terme Snovik, only 25 km away from Krvavec.

Cerkno Ski Centre has won numerous titles of the best ski resort in Slovenia as voted by Slovenian visitors and radio listeners. It is also a multiple winner of the Family-friendly Ski Resort Award. Skiing adventures in Kranjska Gora

Kranjska Gora is one of the most popular ski destinations for families in Slovenia. The reasons for this are the numerous snowy and other adventures, which will engage your children when you are zig-zagging down more or less demanding ski slopes. If you visit Kranjska Gora in March, you may get caught up in the cheering frenzy because two World Cup competitions will be taking place nearby – the Vitranc Cup, FIS Men’s Alpine Skiing World Cup, and the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup in Planica.

Although Kranjska Gora is somewhat further away from thermal resorts, you will not miss out on relaxation after finishing your winter activities. Just below the ski slopes in the centre of Kranjska Gora, you can turn your winter fun into water fun in the Aqua Larix Water Park. You will also be pleasantly surprised at Gozd Martuljek located several kilometres away, where you can experience the beneficial effects of glacial wellness at Hotel Špik.

Take your family to Golte

The ski centre of Golte can be found above Mozirje, and it also pays great attention to families. Use the bonuses of a family ski pass and ski on 12 kilometres of well-arranged trails while children can learn to ski and snowboard in a ski school. The first stop for pampering is wellness above the clouds. For thermal pleasures, visit Terme Dobrna which is 30 kilometres away from Golte, or Terme Laško, somewhat further away.

Skiing on Vogel with picturesque views

Vogel is one of the most beautiful ski centres in Slovenia, where you can enjoy scenic vistas of the surrounding hills, mountains and glistening Lake Bohinj. The entire family will enjoy the idyllic image of the mountain world. To variegate the family ski day with adrenaline, try airboarding, whizz down the slope on a specially designed air-inflated board or enjoy a ride on a snow raft. Upon your return to the valley, stop at Bohinj Aquapark, where you can relax or try various water sports activities.
