PADDLE: Above the sinkholes

A two-hour canoe trip along the part of Lake Cerknica called Rešeto.
PADDLE: Above the sinkholes

Explore the intermittent Lake Cerknica in the part where the water disappears into the underground. We will paddle in canoes over the "Rešeto" (sieve) area, over the embankment that separates the part with sinkholes from the part without them, to the island of Gorica and back. During the experience, in the company of a local guide, you will learn more about Lake Cerknica, admire the flora and fauna of the lake, and discover where the water flow underground.
