Cycle the stages of the Tour of Slovenia even before the race starts!

In 30 years, the Tour of Slovenia has become a true national celebration of cycling, which last year attracted more than 300,000 fans who cheered for cycling champion Tadej Pogačar, who won the green jersey for the second time in a row. 10.9 million spectators watched the Tour of Slovenia on Eurosport, the global sports TV network, and another 11 million people discussed the Slovenian pentathlon on social media. This year's edition has quite a few new features and promises an unforgettable fight for the green in the most picturesque parts of Slovenia. One of the new features is the royal stage with the climb to Kolovrat, considered one of the most beautiful and challenging cycling climbs.

Are you ready for this year's Tour of Slovenia cycling challenge?

All passionate cyclists are invited to try at least one or all of the 5 stages of the Tour of Slovenia before the race starts. The main aim is to get ahead of the best cyclists and try out the stages before 14 June, when the cycling caravan will start the battle for the green jersey. They will climb Triglav three times in five days

The Tour of Slovenia will see the world's top cycling team riders, including many Slovenians, complete 833.3 kilometres and 9,134 metres of climbing. That's the equivalent of climbing Triglav three times and running the Ljubljana Marathon almost 20 times in five days. The stages are varied, so you can expect a very exciting fight for the green jersey.

Starting in Celje and with the first technical stage with several smaller climbs, the first day will show which teams are ready for the curvy Slovenian roads. On the second day, the caravan will cycle from Žalec to Ormož, a route that is well suited to sprinters. However, some new parts of the route could offer many surprises. In the middle of the race, a stage from Grosuplje to Postojna will show who the favourites will be to win the top laurels of the whole race. On the fourth day, the cyclists will cycle the royal stage from Ljubljana to Kobarid, where they will finish with a double climb to Kolovrat. The race will finish with a stage from Vrhnika to Novo mesto, where the best riders on the Slovenian Pentathlon will be announced.
