On Wednesday, March 17 at 4 pm (CEST), Slovenian Tourist Board will host an exclusive webinar to discuss why Slovenia is Europe's new capital of cycling and future Slovenian cycling news. Slovenian cycling legend Primož Roglič will also be featured in the webinar, along with other leading figures in Slovenian cycling and biking.

The main reasons for the webinar on cycling are the facts that cycling is one of the main tourist products in Slovenia and that the success of Slovenian cyclists in the world's most famous cycling races has spread the word about Slovenia being a great cycling destination around the world.

Primož Roglič will talk exclusively about why Slovenia has quickly become one of the world's biggest cycling destinations, as well as offering an insight into his favourite cycling routes in the country. The webinar will also include a statement from Tour de France champion Tadej Pogačar with his own insights into why Slovenia is the next big cycling destination.

We’ll also hear from other leading figures in Slovenian cycling and biking including Jan Klavora, who will be launching a NEW themed cycling trail this year, expert guide Grega Šilc who will exclusively unveil a NEW Juliana Cycling Trail, and Karmen Razlag from the 710km Drava Cycling Route, which connects four countries and will launch new bookable experiences in 2021.

The webinar will offer an insight into key information, current trends and innovations in the field of cycling tourism in Slovenia and provide additional promotion of Slovenia as a 5 * destination for cycling experiences. Since active holidays and sports achievements of Slovenia have major potential, the Slovenian Tourist Board has recently announced that the promotional theme of 2022–2023 will be active holidays or outdoor and sports tourism."

The webinar will be streamed live on the Feel Slovenia Facebook page, and the recording will also be available at the following web link.

Already in 2020, Slovenian Tourist Board organized numerous webinars for foreign media, which can be accessed at the following web link. Through online meetings and trainings, we maintain the attention of foreign media about Slovenia and its 5-star products. Despite travel restrictions due to the new corona virus, we remain connected to foreign media and strive to ensure that Slovenia, as a green, safe and boutique tourist destination, continues to be present in the publications of the most prestigious foreign media. We also highlight the fact that Slovenia is ready to receive its guests as soon as travel becomes possible again.
