The first I FEEL SLOVENIA Virtual Cycling Race starts soon!

Between 27 February and 27 March 2021, the first I FEEL SLOVENIA Virtual Cycling Race for recreational cyclists will take place on Rouvy, one of the leading apps for virtual indoor cycling. Within 5 stages, the cyclists will have a chance to virtually experience the diversity of Slovenia.

The first I FEEL SLOVENIA Virtual Cycling Race starts soon!

The Rouvy app has almost half a million registered users and they will have a chance to participate in the first I FEEL SLOVENIA Virtual Cycling Race between 27 February and 27 March 2021. In five stages, the app will take them on a virtual ride through Slovenia. The organizers hope that the experience will also inspire the cyclists to visit Slovenia for real.

There will be 5 races in total, taking place once a week, on Saturdays at 7 pm CEST. Here's the schedule:

  • 27 February: Bohinj - Bled - Pokljuka
  • 6 March: Izola - Šmarje - Koper
  • 13 March: Cerklje - Krvavec
  • 20 March 20: Črnomelj - Novo mesto
  • 27 March: Ljubljana Chronometer

You will also have a possibility to watch the race live on the Rouvy YouTube channel featuring an English commentator. On each route, professional cyclists will join, among them also Primož Roglič.

It is no coincidence that Slovenia is a cycling superpower and home to currently two of the best cyclists in the world (Roglič and Pogačar). Slovenia has an infinite number of cycling routes, where these cycling stars have also trained.

Let us recall: Already in 2020, between 20 October and 20 December, the I FEEL SLOVENIA Cycling Challenge took place on ROUVY. Back then, the Rouvy app users had a chance to cycle along three stages of the Tour of Slovenia race: Krvavec Climb, Črnomelj – Novo mesto and around Ljubljana. In addition to great awards, all the participating cyclists received a special virtual I FEEL SLOVENIA Explorer badge.

ABOUT ROUVY
