Condé Nast Traveller lists Slovenia among top ten sustainable destinations to visit in 2021

Condé Nast Traveller's sustainability editor Juliet Kinsman listed Slovenia among top ten recommended sustainable destinations or, as stated in the article, "Juliet Kinsman celebrates the destinations setting new benchmarks, spotlighting specific environmental issues and helping to make the world a better place for people and planet, while also promising the best possible holidays for the conscious traveller". The article presents Slovenia as a Central European country with exceptional natural assets, picturesque landscape and numerous attractions.

Ljubljana, in particular, impressed the editor, who described it as "a welcoming and walker-friendly capital". Furthermore, the article highlights a high percentage of Slovenia’s protected landscape marked by vibrant diversity from the Alpine peaks, ancient forests, Karst plateaus, the Pannonian plains' vineyards and thermal waters to the Adriatic Coast.
