Grof Hotel in Vransko - a new green accommodation in Slovenia!
Grof Vransko Hotel is a new 4* hotel located close to Savinja Valley, next to highway between two Slovenian major cities, Maribor and Ljubljana. With the commitment to sustainable development, the hotel has obtained a sustainable Green Key certificate.
Grof Hotel in Vransko was build next to the internationaly well-known Grof restaurant, just a stone's throw away from the Vransko highway exit. With 34 hotel rooms, the venue is suitable for business events, team buildings, training camps as well as family leisure activities.
In August, the hotel upgraded their green policies and successfully obtained the sustainable Green Key certificate, which is the leading standard of excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation in the tourism industry. By obtaining the label, the new hotel has formally positioned itself on the Slovenian, European and global markets as an environmentally and socially friendly accommodation. In the coming year, they also plan to obtain the cycling-friendly hotel label, as they already have high cycling marketing standards and a well-developed offer for cycling in the Lower Savinja Valley.
