It is hardly a secret that this year's tourist season is a great challenge for all industry employees, so Portorož & Piran, in cooperation with the tourism industry and the Municipality of Piran, decided to launch a comprehensive advertising campaign for the domestic market. The Portorož Tourist Board responded swiftly, launching the Back to Portorož and Piran campaign in just over a week. The main focus is on advertisements played on all major Slovenian TV channels since 26 May. The campaign inviting the residents of Slovenia to vacation in Portorož and Piran, discover hidden corners and gather new experiences will last until the end of August. The campaign’s creative design was prepared in cooperation with the agency April 8. The “Back to Portorož” promotional video can be seen here.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Piran, Đenio Zadković, said at the project’s presentation, “I am glad that we have joined forces and designed such a striking campaign for the domestic market, as the tourism industry is in need of help. A good epidemiological situation in our country and especially our municipality will be an excellent message to all our potential guests.

“Domestic guests are invited to holiday in our municipality as they did in the old days, only better. We will invite them to spend their tourist vouchers here. At the same time, we will respect the recommendations and do everything to make sure that both guests and the local population feel safe,” added Igor Novel, director of the Portorož Tourist Board.
