Art Hotel Tartini – the make-over of the iconic hotel!

The iconic Tartini Hotel has been revamped into a unique design hotel, featuring a breathtaking rooftop garden, connoisseur restaurant, a cocktail bar and several design rooms which make it one of Piran's currently most desired accommodation providers.

This summer, the renowned Hotel Tartini has been converted into the Art Hotel Tartini, thanks to the world-renowned Slovenian artist Jaša. He redesigned Tartini hotel into a unique high-end hotel, offering an experience of multi-dimensional work of art, with components of architecture, painting, sculpture and more. If you have ever desired to sleep in a work of art, now is your chance.

JAŠA is Slovenia’s most prolific and critically recognized contemporary artist. He is driven by his rhapsodic interpretations of situation, narrative, sculpture, and performance. Through his alchemistic connection with material and content, JAŠA transforms spaces into experiences, driving them toward their poetic and aesthetic potentials. Pushing artistic boundaries through an uncompromising vision for two decades, JAŠA has created a rich and remarkable body of work that includes multiple critically acclaimed solo shows and projects globally. In his two active studios in New York and Ljubljana, Slovenia, JAŠA has created a unique environment, which allows him to cultivate contextual and visual eventuality integral to his work. His latest projects include Compositions 1 & 2 & 3 (Atacama/Chile, Folkestone/UK, New York/USA), Above All We Are Not Done (New York, 2017), ULAY & JAŠA /Cutting Through the Clouds of Myth ( New York, 2016), UTTER / the violent necessity for the embodied presence of hope (Pavilion of Slovenia, Venice biennial, 2015), UNTITLED, 2015 (Istanbul, 2015), The Relations (London, 2016) among others.
