Slovenian mountains inspire world renowned photographers and magazines, including Bloomberg

For the past two weeks, Alex Strohl, the renowned photographer has hiked the Julian and Kamnik Savinja Alps and captured his best moments with his camera. His photo of Skuta alpine shelter got almost 100,000 likes on his Instagram profile. Our official FeelSlovenia Instagram shared his post and gained more than 2,000 new followers.

Alex Strohl is a Madrid born French photographer whole work is characterized by his extraordinary travels. His photography has been featured in prestigious publications such as Forbes, Vanity Fair and Gentleman’s Journal. He spends the vast majority of his time on the road with his life partner Andrea Dabene, who happens to have Slovenian roots. This time, she has not joined him, but he came to Slovenia with a member of his team, Joel Fuller. Together they captured some amazing moments in the Slovenian Alps and attracted major audience. With his photos, he managed to show the Slovenian mountains in all their glory.

Slovenia has been in the spotlight thanks to its amazing nature in a number of renowned media. The most recent article in Bloomberg written by Brandon Presser features a legendary mountaineer Ales Cesen, ”who aims to do for Slovenia what adventure travel did for Iceland.” In addition, he also pinpoints that Slovenia is really worth visiting, especially thanks to outstanding nature.

And we are more than proud to state the final lines of this outstanding article, which nicely wrap up what now a number of renowned media has recently repeated over and over again (perhaps in a bit different, indirect style, but still...): “It turns out that Slovenia, much like Ales, is—how do you say it?—ah, yes, a big f---ing deal.”
