Ljubljana thrilled the New York Times!

There was an unbelievable response to Ljubljana in the New York Times, the leading US medium, which reached 30 to 90 million readers! The journalist Alex Crevar, who visited the Slovenian capital a while ago, explored it thoroughly and wrote an excellent article: "36 Hours in Ljubljana, Slovenia".

Ljubljana thrilled the New York Times!

The renowned journalist Alex Crevar encouraged everyone to visit the Slovenian capital by exploring Ljubljana in 36 hours. In his article he described everything that Ljubljana works hard for – the capital’s green and sustainable outlook, which is reflected in the satisfaction of both residents and tourists, its special shops and cafés, and the city’s atmosphere. Crevar offered readers an array of options to visit and experience in the capital.  How would you spend 36 Hours in Ljubljana, Slovenia?

The article in the printed edition of the New York Times is expected to reach up to 90 million reads. The US market is becoming increasingly important for Slovenia, and this year Slovenia has been particularly prominent in global media, with articles about it published in top-level media such as Forbes, NatGeo, Condé Nast, the Huffington Post and others. Such articles achieve high advertising value and we are extremely proud of the good relations we have with the American media. Slovenia is a green pearl for them in the centre of Europe, with a lovely capital city and excellent products. Journalists like to taste Slovenian top quality home cooking, and they are also very interested in our sustainable development of tourism, which they are especially alert to when visiting Slovenia.
