The iconic alpine town of Bled in north-west Slovenia is on the cover of a brochure about luxury travel by plane published by National Geographic for 2017 and 2018. Slovenia is included in the itinerary called “Great Empires by Private Jet” and besides Bled, the journey also includes a visit to Ljubljana. "A short flight brings us to Ljubljana, where we will discover the diverse landscape of Slovenia, a crossroads of culture, located between the Alps and the Mediterranean," states the description.
The idyllic image of Bled – a beautiful lake with an island and a church, and a view of Bled Castle in the background – is on the cover of the latest brochure of exclusive trips, “National Geographic Private Jet Expeditions 2017-2018”. The two-day visit to Slovenia is in a programme of one of six journeys which are available to small groups travelling the world by private plane in the next two years.
