Days of Slovenian Tourism 2016

The Days of Slovenian Tourism represents the main professional event in tourism, and is organised according to the strategic direction of strengthening the connections and development of Slovenian tourism with its partner institutions. A 3-day programme, from 11th to 13th of October, will be held in Radenci.

The DST (Days of Slovenian Tourism) event is organised in accordance with the strategic guideline of strengthening integration in the development and marketing of Slovenian tourism. The event will take place in Terme Radenci in eastern Slovenia from 11th to 14th of October, and host all the major partner institutions active in tourism in Slovenia: the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, the Slovenian Tourist Board (STB), the Tourist Association of Slovenia, the Tourism and Hospitality Chamber of Slovenia, the Catering and Tourism Section of the Chamber of Crafts and Small Businesses of Slovenia, the Chamber of Mountain Centres – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, the Association of Slovenian Travel Agencies, the Slovenian Natural Health Resorts Community, the Slovenian Convention Bureau, the Association of Tourism Journalists of FIJET Slovenia, GIZ Hiking and Biking and others.

Within the framework of the Days of Slovenian Tourism, several important events will take place, including a Plenary session of the DST, where the highest awards in tourism will be made; the 63rd Catering and Tourism Assembly; the event My Country – Beautiful and Hospitable; and the 19th Slovenian Tourism Forum, with the theme of “Content digital marketing”.
