Slovenia receives a special acknowledgement at MITT Moscow

At the MITT Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition, Slovenia received the “Sustainable Tourism Award” for the best stand which follows the objectives of sustainable development and promotion in tourism.

In March, Slovenia attended the 2015 MITT Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition. Under the auspices of the Tourism Division of the SPIRIT Slovenia public agency, 22 Slovenian tourist companies participated at the exhibition. Russian guests in Slovenia are most frequently interested in the offer of Slovenian natural health resorts, which is why medical tourism was made the central theme of the presentation of Slovenian companies. Among more than 2,000 participants from 198 countries or regions, the organisers of the MITT Moscow awarded the Slovenian stand with the “Sustainable Tourism Award” for the best stand observing the objectives of sustainable development and promotion in tourism.
