Slovenia on Travel Channel

Follow Henry Cole, one of the world`s most famous producer, presenter, motorbike rider and a host of the show World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides on Travel Channel. His latest show and love of a good motorbike ride brought him to Ljubljana, where he started his journey through the Balkans. The series consists of 5 episodes, of which 25 minutes of the first episode are dedicated to Slovenia. The show will have been broadcasted on Travel Channel until the middle of the year 2016 in more than 130 countries.

Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016, is the starting point on this new series. Coffee with a local celebrity and travel enthusiast Mojca Mavec, tea with the mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Janković and visit to the Ljubljana Castle keeps Henry occupied in Slovenia’s wonderful city but as ever the temptation of the road ahead is irresistible and the Balkans are there waiting to be explored.

The ride of his lifetime is around 2,400 kilometres from Ljubljana to Sofia in Bulgaria, taking in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia along the way. The journey is close to Henry’s heart because he has not been to this part of the world since the middle of 1990’s, when he worked as a war-cameraman during the war in the Balkans. A special touch to the journey gives him his beloved motorbike Metisse Steve McQueen Desert Racer.

Watch the World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides – The Balkans (season 15, episode 1) on Travel Channel and explore Slovenia with Henry Cole.
