Netflix’s series with Ana Roš nominated for an Emmy Award

The Chef`s Table is an American documentary series from Netflix, where each episode presents a portrait of a world-renowned chef. This season one of the featured chefs is the renowned Slovenian chef and ambassador of the national brand “I feel Slovenia”, Ana Roš. The series has received nominations for an Emmy, the most prestigious television award, in the categories for the best documentary and non-fiction series, for best music in a documentary series, and for best direction in a documentary series.

The 68th Primetime Emmy nominations were announced last Thursday, highlighting the best of the best in television this year. Among the nominations is the American documentary The Chef`s Table, which focuses on the presentation of world-renowned chefs. This season one of the main stars and featured chefs is Ana Roš, the queen of innovative Slovenian and world cuisine. She gets inspiration from the ingredients she finds in her secluded surroundings, creating unexpected recipes and serving them to her guests at Hiša Franko in Kobarid. The house with its special story is run by Ana and her partner, Valter Kramar, an exceptional connoisseur of wine and cheese.

Ana was presented in the 5th episode of the 2nd season of The Chef’s Table. The series is nominated in three Emmy categories:

* Outstanding Documentary or Non-fiction Series

* Outstanding Music Composition for a Series

* Outstanding Directing for a Non-fiction Programme

The winners of the Emmy awards will be announced on 18th September at the official ceremony.
