Slovenia is the homeland of inspiring women, who have changed the course of history. International Women's Day is the perfect opportunity to delve into their stories.

A number of poems praises women, including a part of Zdravljica (A Toast), the poem written by the greatest Slovenian poet, France Prešeren - part of the very same poem later on became the national Slovenian anthem.
