New charter flights between Italy and Slovenia
On June 30, a charter connection between Bolzano, Pisa, Naples and Maribor will be established. The project was initiated by Slovenia Vacation tour operator and supported by the Slovenian Tourist Board with promotional events.
Between June 30 and September 15, charter flights will connect Italian towns of Bolzano, Pisa and Naples with Maribor. Flights will be carried out with Dash 8 passenger aircraft with the capacity of 78 seats of the Italian airline Skyalps. In total, 12 charter flights from each destination will be carried out in 11 weeks, which will according to estimates, bring about 2500 Italian tourists to Slovenia.
The project was initiated by Slovenia Vacation and supported by numerous hotels, spa resorts, glampings and transport suppliers, as well as by the Slovenian Tourist Board (STB), which organised a number of promotional activities, including advertising and press and business events in the Italian market.
