Four Ljubljana restaurants through the lens of a Michelin journalist
In November 2021, a journalist from the Michelin Guide visited Michelin-winning Slovenian restaurants. The first of six articles reveals the diversity of tastes of the Ljubljana culinary scene in 4 of the 17 Ljubljana restaurants listed in the Michelin Guide 2021: B-restaurant, Shambala, Sushima and Vander.

Ljubljana is synonymous with the culinary diversity, also reflected through different types of cuisine – from local specialties, to Italian recipes, Japanese classics and fragrant Thai dishes.
The most recent Michelin article takes a closer look at four restaurants in Ljubljana: B-Restaurant, located on the 20th floor of the Intercontinental Hotel with a menu designed by Italian chef Alfredo Russo and master chef Komnen Bakić, Sushimama, which takes you on a journey to the land of the rising sun, Shambala, which unveils a spicy Asian authenticity with varied dishes from various Asian countries such as Vietnam, Thailand and Japan, and last but not least: Vander, a restaurant located within the walls of the attractive boutique hotel.
Find further inspiration and details about the restaurants in Ljubljana in the Michelin article.
The next Michelin articles will unveil a video with Leon Pintarič from Gostilna Rajh and an article about two restaurants in boutique hotels: Kendov dvorec in Idrija and Vila Planinka in Jezersko. They will be published in February.
