Samo Surina takes over the management of the digital content marketing sector at the STB

As of January 17, Samo Surina took over the management of the content digital marketing sector. Ana Savšek, who has led the sector for 3 years, is currently on maternity leave.

Samo Surina, MA, comes from Kamnik, where he has worked in several fields of the destination management at Kamnik Tourism Board. His scope of work included promotion, product development, guide activities and strategic projects. He also honed his skills in the field of hospitality in New Zealand, where he, as he says, gained probably the most important experience in his life.

Upon taking over the management of the digital content marketing department, Samo Surina pinpointed: “I want to co-create exceptional stories that have been written for a long time by the colleagues in the department, along with other STB's employees. I believe in Slovenian tourism, which follows the common vision of Slovenia as a green boutique destination for 5-star experiences. This is also the driving force of this ambitious team that is in constant search for new ideas and trends and on the hunt for the best creative solutions, as well as opportunities to create notable and good projects, together with renowned global media and platforms.
