Young and old, competition and charity, suffering and joy—all of these intertwine during the nine consecutive years on the last weekend of August at the charitable Postojna Run. Approximately 200 male and female runners from various parts of Slovenia participate in the race. Since it’s part of the Notranjska Running Cup, the majority of participants come from this region. What brings us the most delight is the inclusion of preschool and school children—nearly 100 kids create a true running atmos.
