The Khislstein open-air stage is an auditorium for concerts and theatre performances. It is located within the medieval walls of the Khislstein Castle and is like an amphitheatre that hosts various events that make the summer in Kranj even more colourful.
Vlado Kreslin, known as the troubadour of the Pannonian plains and the ambassador of Prekmurje, started playing music as a drummer in the early 1970s. He has already released thirty albums of his own music and several collections of poetry, and has appeared in film and theatre as a composer and actor. Many of his songs have been immortalised and some have inspired novels, feature films and theses.
