In May, rhododendrons will bloom at the Volčji Potok Arboretum, joined by pieris, calmias, leucothoi and skimmia. Every year, visitors to the English Park are treated to a spectacular show of colour. Some of the shrubs are more than 50 years old, but they continue to impress every year. See for yourself!
Ornamental onions are popular garden plants. Their green leaves are a little less attractive. But the unknowing admirers of your garden will be amazed when the hostas bloom again - this time with their flowers - in midsummer. As you stroll through the park, ornamental meadows of different species and varieties will wink at you from their beds. As many as 5000 of them will bloom in the park.
