Tropical butterflies exhibition

Tropical butterflies return to us again this year, captivating us again and again with their colourfulness and their cycle of complete transformation. In the glasshouse you can observe caterpillars of different colours and sizes.
Tropical butterflies exhibition

During its growth, the caterpillar changes its skin several times, molting. Before the last moult, it puts on a protective layer, the cocoon, and pupates. At the end of the glasshouse, the cocoons are covered with beautiful young butterflies, which emerge from the cocoon, sipping the grapefruit juice and feasting on the fragrant flowers. At first their wings are still wet and soft, so they need to dry off and their bodies harden before they can fly and dance happily around you.
