The Magic forest ("Pravljični gozd") lies on a sunny slope above Lake Bohinj. It is reached by a regular trail if you walk up the slope from the fish farm (fenced pasture) at least 500 meters. Here you will see ancient beech with fantastic forms and impressive dimensions.
