This farm, situated in the village of Lokev, is distinguished by its extraordinary tradition, since it has been welcoming guests since 1770.
For all those who love good food a visit to the farm is a must since the owners still follow the traditions laid out in centuries-old recipes. Your hosts will offer you a wide range of traditional Karst dishes such as jota (barley and vegetable stew), sausages and sauerkraut, various vegetable soups, prosciutto, homemade sheep's cheese and many more lovely dishes waiting for you to taste them.
The farm is in the center of the village, near the church and the military tower, and is a great starting point for exploring the surrounding area. It is also an excellent choice for those who love horses since the stables at Lipica are less than 5 km away. Other interesting sights include Škocjan caves, the picturesque little town of Štanjel, and you can even enjoy a coffee in Trieste in no time. If you like literature, listen up!  Vilenica, the first cave open for tourists in Slovenia, which today hosts an international literary festival, is only 2 km away.
