Day 1: Cerknica, old city core, model of disappearing Cerknica Lake.
Day 2: Mount Snežnik, Križna jama Cave, Nova Štifta, Loški potok, Nova vas.
Day 3: Rašica, Trubar Homestead, Turjak Castle, Grosuplje, Novo mesto.
Day 4: Mokronog, Šentrupert, Mirna Castle, Trebnje, Gallery of Naïve Art, Stična.
Day 5: Valley of Castles: Soteska Castle, Hudičev turn, Museum of Antique Vehicles, Dvor, Žužemberk. Possibility of rafting.
Day 6: Šentjernej, Pleterje Carthusian Monastery, open-air museums, Kostanjevica (cave, gallery), Brežice.
Day 7: Bela krajina: through Dolenjske Toplice to Semič, Črnomelj, Lahinja Regional Park, Metlika, and the “Tri fare” churches in Rosalnice.
Day 8: A ride to Ljubljana and a tour of Slovenia’s capital city.
