Pine forests that hide Pohorje’s hardy mountain farms stretch right to the peaks, and the alpine meadows become outstanding ski slopes in winter. Snow covers the meadows as early as November and disappears only in late spring. The diverse terrain provides a ski area suitable for beginners and experts alike.
