This one story building has the year 1554 engraved over the front door. The front wall is decorated with two corbels, the yard to the back of the building is decorated with an arcade. In the past there was a law court and prison, where Ivan Cankar was imprisoned for a time. The building been changed many times, the last time in 1990, when the interior was also renovated. Archaeological research carried out at the time excavated coins from the 15th and 16th century, a Roman fibula (cloak pin) and ceramics.
