The Protner Tourist Farm is situated in the hilly region of Slovenske Gorice, which is famous for its fertile vineyards and orchards. When you wake up in the morning, you will feel like you are joined together with the Drava Valley, the Pohorje, Kope, and Donačka gora mountains, and the Pesnica Valley. And, since vineyards surround the farm, you can even pick a handful of grapes right through your window.

The Protners are famous for their organically-produced fruit, grapes, and wine, which always impress fans of healthy food. Their kitchen specialties include meats from the lard barrel, venison salami, boiled sausage, and gibanica. Since their main occupation is winegrowing and making wine, there is no reason to leave the farm thirsty. If you wish, you can buy wine, fruit, brandy, and venison salami.

Your first adventure can take place right on the farm, when you are invited to see the herd of fallow deer. If you want, you can participate in the grape harvest or in making sausages in season. You can find several beautiful churches nearby, and it is also pleasant to visit the city of Maribor or go skiing on the snowy slopes of the Pohorje mountains.
