Por favor, evalúe la oferta:  Orpheus Monument The five-metre-tall Orpheus monument is situated on Slovenski trg-Slovene Square.It is a Roman tombstone carved out of Pohorje marble. In the 2nd century A.D. it was erected in honour of city mayor Marcus Valerius Verus. Its name comes from the carved-in images depicting various scenes of the ancient myth of Orpheus. In the Middle Ages the Orpheus Monument also served as a pillory.
