The bike route "Castles" brings us back to the medieval times, when knights had to fight for their beloved ones. It leads us through numerous villages and churches to three medieval castles (The Prestranek castle, The Orekeh castle, The Predjama castle), one castle-tower (The Ravbar tower), that is nowadays the only remainder of the former Mali castle, and to the remains of The Haasberg, once very powerful baroque castle. On the bike route we can visit also the Planina cave and the cave below the Predjama castle, watch the training of horses at the Prestranek castle or ride on our own, go for an 1 hour long trek on the Sv. Lovrenc hill or stop at the Unška koliševka, one of the three most popular spots for bird-watching in Slovenia. Cycling track is on of the 10 tracks in MTB park Notranjska.
