The village has 69 houses and 182 inhabitants (10 houses are empty). It is divided into Cardje (five houses), Lovenjacke (seven houses), Flisardje (seven houses), Sevrov Breg (six houses), Vrej (nine houses), Gobarje (four houses), Beznecke (five houses), Gobarova Graba (five houses), Bačičov Breg (three houses), Dol (ten houses) and Gešardje (three houses). There are closely planted vineyards of hybrid vines in Vrej. Mixed forest (pine, spruce, beech and oak) predominates higher up the hills. Mushroom-picking is popular here. For many years the volunteer fire brigade, just as in other villages, has been the driving force of development. Its origins date back to 1931. There are two cemeteries in the village, one large and one small. The main cemetery is on the hill, while the other is in a ravine and was once the property of a rich farmer called Šandor. It is said to be the smallest cemetery in Slovenia. The main cemetery has a chapel of rest and a small chapel where Mass is said once a month. Life in the village has changed for the better in comparison to the post-war years. Today the village has a pub, a snack bar and shop. The villagers are proud of local lad Rade Bačič, who was national wrestling champion of Yugoslavia in the pioneer and cadet categories. He achieved his greatest success in 1997 when he took the bronze medal at the Mediterranean Games in Italy.
