Workshop

SIW 2026: Portorož, 5–7 May

The Slovenian Incoming Workshop (SIW) is the premier B2B tourism event in Slovenia, designed to provide time-efficient, high-value meetings with the country's most renowned tourism providers. SIW 2026 offers the perfect platform to establish and strengthen strategic partnerships between international tour operators, travel agencies, and leaders of the Slovenian tourism industry.
Building on the remarkable success of SIW 2025 in Rogaška Slatina, which facilitated over 3,500 bilateral business meetings, this year's event moves to the vibrant coastal setting of Portorož.

Participants can look forward to a dynamic program featuring:

  • Central B2B Day: Pre-scheduled, 1-on-1 meetings focused on real business results.
  • Relaxed Afternoon Networking: Numerous opportunities to build lasting connections in a relaxed, Mediterranean atmosphere.
  • Boutique Study Tours: Explore the many faces of Slovenia through 5 distinct study tours. These hand-picked journeys allow you to experience our most iconic products and hidden gems firsthand.

SIW continues to inspire and connect international partners while presenting Slovenia as an innovative and sustainable tourism destination. We are excited to welcome you to Portorož from May 5th to 7th, where SIW 2026 will spark fresh ideas, new opportunities, and rewarding collaborations.

Location of SIW 2026: Portoroz & Piran

Where the Adriatic meets timeless elegance, Portorož and Piran invite you to experience the very best of the Mediterranean. Piran, one of the most photogenic towns on the Slovenian coast, enchants with its Venetian architecture, winding alleys and a unique atmosphere where history and everyday life intertwine. Every corner tells a story — from the lively Tartini Square to the serene seaside promenade.

A short stroll along the coast reveals Portorož, a place where Mediterranean charm meets refined comfort. For centuries, the healing power of the nearby Sečovlje Salt Pans has shaped the town’s spa and wellness tradition, creating an oasis of relaxation and well-being. Today, top-class hotels, gourmet restaurants and contemporary meeting and event venues make it a perfect setting for international workshops, business networking and curated experiences.

The surrounding Istrian countryside reveals another side of the destination — picturesque stone villages, olive groves and vineyards offering authentic flavours and unforgettable encounters. Here, nature and gastronomy meet in perfect harmony: sea salt, premium wine and olive oil, truffles, fresh seafood and seasonal produce inspire culinary creations that delight every palate.

Whether you’re hosting a business gathering by the sea, building new partnerships or seeking inspiration for future programmes, Portorož and Piran offer the ideal balance of charm, professionalism and Mediterranean warmth. Discover a destination where every moment feels extraordinary.
