Slovenian Health Resorts Recorded a Large Number of Visits in November

The latest statistical figures for Slovenian natural health resorts show that they had a large number of visitors. In November, they were visited by 17.1% more foreign and 5.5% more local guests than the same period last year. Also, a 4.5% increase in the number of overnight stays was recorded – the number of local visitors was equal to that of the same period last year while the number of foreign visitors increased by 11.1%. In November, the health resorts had 51,713 guests, a 10.3% increase compared to the same period last year, while the number of overnight stays increased by 4.5%. Italian tourists traditionally prefer Rogaška Slatina and Portorož, but this year their number in has more than doubled Terme Čatež, which means that Terme Čatež is now in first place by the number of visitors from the Italian outgoing market. Other Slovenian health resorts recorded high growth indexes from here as well – the result of the increasingly more intensive activities of individual health resorts.
