Slovenia Attends Numerous Tourism Trade Fairs & Shows

In the first three months of 2008, Slovenian tourism industry in association with the Slovenian Incoming Workshop achieved success at as many as 22 tourism trade fairs and 8 trade shows in 19 different countries. We were at some of the trade fairs for the first time, in the context of extra activities undertaken as part of Slovenian EU Council Presidency. Slovenia was this year positioned as a partner country at trade fairs in Munich and Budapest. Happy with extremely positive response and good track record, we have already started planning similar appearances for next year. The STB will be attending the following trade fairs in April: Tempo libero Vicenza (29 Mar.–6 Apr.), Freizeit Klagenfurt (10–13 Apr.), Saloturisme Barcelona (17–20 Apr.) and the IMEX Frankfurt congress show (22–24 Apr.).
