Portorož Palace Hotel Managed and Run by Kempinski Hotel Chain

Companies Istrabenz hoteli Portorož, d. o. o., and Kempinski Hotels S.A. signed an agreement whereby the Kempinski Hotel Chain is taking over the management and running of the Portorož Palace Hotel for the period of 20 years. With the first luxury hotel in Slovenia, Portorož is again becoming a tourist destination for the most sophisticated international guests.

The Palace Hotel is joining the Kempinski world chain of luxury hotels in the closing stages of renovation, which is headed by the hotel's owner, Istrabenz hoteli Portorož. By concluding the management agreement with Kempinski Hotels S.A., the famous hotel is now entitled to use the Kempinski brand and trademark and to become part of the Kempinski marketing system. The renovated hotel will be called the Kempinski Palace Hotel. With 185 rooms and suites, the Portorož hotel will combine the best of tourism tradition with modern luxury hotel offers.
