First National Catering, Tourism Job Exchange

The Directorate for Tourism at the Ministry of the Economy, in collaboration with the Employment Service of Slovenia, Chamber of Tourism and Catering with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia, is holding the first National Catering and Tourism Job Exchange on Wednesday, 8 October 2008, in Moravske Toplice.

The event will host the following activities:
• Roundtable on “Employment prospects in catering and tourism,” moderated by Peter Poles;
• Incentive workshop “Catering and tourism, opportunity for a successful career,” led by Dejan Podgoršek (STB);
• Job Exchange, with exhibiting companies, one-to-one meetings;
• Multimedia presentation of companies
The facilitiators have decided to hold the first National Catering and Tourism Job Exchange in the framework of the 55th Catering & Tourism Convention of Slovenia, which attracts 5000+ visitors every year, among them many final year students from secondary schools of catering and tourism as well as final year college students enrolled in tourism and catering programmes.
