Renovated, Expanded Terme Čatež Winter Thermal Riviera Now Open

The renovated and expanded Winter Thermal Riviera, which is now the largest indoor pool complex in Slovenia, welcomed its first guests.

The new pool complex now offers: surfing area, jumpslide, kamikaze slide, pirate ship and burning town, erupting volcano with waterfalls, mountain ridges with galleries serving as beaches and massage areas.
”We are confident that the new attractions of the expanded Winter Thermal Riviera will attract an even larger number of visitors to Terme Čatež. The theme of the new additions will be particularly appealing to families and the youth. Thanks to its state-of-the-art technology and modern visual design solutions, the Thermal Riviera will fortify its position as the most attractive and most fun indoor water park among thermal resorts,” said Dejan Bibič, executive manager of the Thermal Riviera and campsite.
Renovation work on the Winter Thermal Riviera was also completed at Terme Čatež. The entire roofing structure on the second dome was renovated, the old slide in the first section of the complex was replaced by a new spectacular black hole slide, the Sauna Park was refurbished.
The total cost of the investment is EUR 6.4 million, 24 percent of which will be part-financed by the ERDF.
