“Tourism Responding to the Challenge of Climate Change”

On Friday 26 September the Golf Hotel, Bled, hosted the closing event in the context of the World Tourism Day on the topic “Tourism Responding to the Challenge of Climate Change,” organised by the Directorate for Tourism at the Ministry of the Economy and the Slovenian Tourist Board. Held during Open Days, the event culminated with an award ceremony for “Best Female Tourism Manager 2008” and “Best Male Tourism Manager 2008” as well as “Best Female Volunteer” and “Best Male Volunteer” in tourism 2008.

“Tourism Responding to the Challenge of Climate Change”

Held during Open Days, the event culminated with an award ceremony for “Best Female Tourism Manager 2008” and “Best Male Tourism Manager 2008” as well as “Best Female Volunteer” and “Best Male Volunteer” in tourism 2008.

The “Best Female Tourism Manager 2008” award went to Ms Renata Balažic, who won the highest number of votes among female finalists and was given thumbs up by the selection committee. Based on the highest number of votes among male finalists and selection committee approval, the “Best Male Tourism Manager 2008” award went to Mr Andrej Šprajc, M.Sc.
