Successful Culinary Olympics for Slovenian Chefs

The Slovenian national culinary team won two silver and two bronze medals at the 22nd edition of the Culinary Olympics, which took place in Erfurt, Germany.

The Slovenian national culinary team won two silver and two bronze medals at the 22nd edition of the Culinary Olympics, which took place in Erfurt, Germany.

Headed by Mr Janez Dolšak of Ljubljana Grand Hotel Union, the Slovenian national culinary team, made up of Mr Danilo Kozar of the Livada Prestige Hotel in Terme 3000, Moravske Toplice, Mr Igor Jagodic of Grand Hotel Toplice, Bled, and Mr Borut Jakič and Ms Alenka Kodele of Hotel Perla, Nova Gorica, competed in the “hot and cold kitchen” events in this year's Culinary Olympics.
In the “hot kitchen,” flagship event of the Culinary Olympics, the team prepared a three-course menu for 110 people, which earned them a team silver. In the “cold kitchen” event, the team clinched the silver medal for their starter and finger food platter and two bronze medals for a vegetarian platter and confectionery art.
