I FEEL SLOVENIA Postage Stamp Depicting Plaited Bread Heart Coming Out in May

Post of Slovenia (Pošta Slovenije) is releasing a new series of postage stamps in May. The May issue will carry the I FEEL SLOVENIA logo, with a plaited bread heart as the central image.

The image, winner of an open competition, was designed by Edi Berk in association with photographer Dragan Arrigler.
The postage stamp will be used for standard international letters (face value EUR 0.40).
Moreover, the Postage Stamps Committee gave the go-ahead for Post of Slovenia to issue in the next five years another five postage stamps on the topic of I FEEL SLOVENIA, which will depict an elaborately perforated egg, honey bread heart, bird of Holy Spirit, the Barje Madonna, and a stone mortar and pestle, all prepared under the expert guidance of Prof. Janez Bogataj, PhD.
The new series of definitive I FEEL SLOVENIA postage stamps, featuring a total of six different designs, will be available for purchase at post offices across Slovenia.
