New publication: Sightseeing Tours 2009

A new publication entitled Sightseeing Tours 2009 has been produced in Slovene and English, presenting different ways of seeing and visiting Ljubljana.

The publication is available free of charge for all who want to view the city from different angles. But you can also enjoy a guided tour of Ljubljana organised by the Ljubljana Institute for Tourism 3 times a day: at 10 am, 2 pm and 5 pm. Visits take place regardless of the number of participants, who must gather at the above hours in front of the Magistrat (Town Hall). The guided visits are diverse and one can learn many new and interesting things about the capital in this way.
The publication includes a timetable of the operation of the little tourist train which (in April) runs every day between 10 am and 5 pm between Stritarjeva ulica and Ljubljana Castle; a timetable of boat trips on the River Ljubljanica; balloon flights; a special guided visit known as "Zmajeva šifra" (The Dragon’s Code) and the possibility of visiting Ljubljana with the help of a digital guide.
