Terme Čatež satisfied with business results for the first three months of the year

The management of Terme Čatež is satisfied with the results achieved in the period between January and March 2009 and are preparing new attractions for visitors in the coming season.

In the first three months of 2009, Terme Čatež d.d. recorded:
• 125,604 overnight stays by tourists, which is 2.8% more than in the same period in 2008 (equivalent to 3,408 more overnight stays);
• 190,379 entries to the bathing complex, which is 3.2% more than in the same period last year (last year’s figure: 184,505);
• EUR 6.7 million in revenue, or 5.5% more than in the same period last year.
The first quarter of 2009 ended with encouraging results and they hope to see this trend continue in the coming months. They are also preparing several new attractions for guests:
• American Indian Village in Čatež, something completely new in Slovenia, will welcome the first guests at the end of April. The village will have 25 Indian "teepee" tents, with four beds in each one, making up a total of 100 beds in the whole village. Situated next to the lake, the Indian Village will be ideal for family holidays, school trips, teambuilding programmes and adventure experiences.
• Other ambitious projects planned for this year include expansion of the campsite with a further 40 camping places and the construction of 30 apartments in the apartment complex in Čatež.
