Notice of new direct bus links between Rome, Florence and Ljubljana

The Italian transport company Florentia Bus has set up a scheduled connection between Rome, Florence and Ljubljana.

This is the only direct link between these cities, and represents a bridge between Slovenia and Italian regions, especially Tuscany. This is extremely important in bringing the neighbouring countries closer together and for their economic, cultural and tourism cooperation.
A special delegation of Italian journalists, who will visit Slovenia with the aim of providing media support for the announcement of the bus link, will be accompanied by Piero Tacconi, Slovenia’s honorary consul in Florence.
The latest-generation bus runs every day of the year except 1 January. The bus departs Ljubljana Bus Station at 5.10, and is scheduled to arrive in Florence at 13.05, then in Rome at 16.45. Departure from Rome towards Ljubljana is at 9.30, from Florence at 13.30, and arrival in Ljubljana is at 21.00. Stops are also envisaged at Trieste, Mestre and Bologna.
A ticket for the Ljubljana – Florence leg costs 34 euros, and the full Ljubljana – Rome trip costs 46 euros.
