The 59 edition of the Golden Fox, which is an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of Slovenia as a tourist destination and as a homeland of top athletes by highlighting the I Feel Slovenia brand, will take place from 7 to 8 January in Kranjska Gora. The women's Alpine Ski World Cup race is again moving from Maribor's Pohorje due to lack of snow. The event boasts strong international media coverage, viewership and visibility, and is an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of Slovenia as a tourist destination and a land of top athletes by highlighting the I Feel Slovenia brand.

The competition, which will be attended by more than 22 teams from all over the world, will start on Saturday, 7 January, with the giant slalom and end on Sunday, 8 January, with the same discipline.

Once again, a number of spectators from all over the world is expected to watch the TV broadcast live. According to a report from the last event, the women's Alpine skiing competition is expected to be watched by more than 167 million spectators worldwide. The competition will be broadcast live on television in Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, the UK, France, Benelux, Bulgaria, Spain and other countries. After three years, the organisers hope to organise an event with more than 10,000 visitors.

The 59th Golden Fox is a unique opportunity to address the global public and present Slovenia as a country of top athletes and as a highly innovative, technologically advanced and smart economic and tourist destination. This is why SPIRIT Slovenia recognized the event as an excellent platform for the "I feel Slovenia. Green. Creative. Smart." national communication campaign, implemented with the aim of raising the profile and reputation of Slovenia and its green, creative and smart economy in the international environment.

The campaign will for the first time be displayed in the FIS World Cup technical races as an LED starting installation, showcasing selected icons of Slovenian tourism before the start of each competitor.
